Workshop 1: Creating Possibilities for Competitive Advantage
In this provocative presentation, Merit Gest will help members of your organization recognize alternatives, whether they need to be uncovered or they are staring them in the face. They will learn what it takes for them to enter what she calls, The Cycle of Possibility™ which will allow them to stay clear about their vision and move forward with purpose and momentum on an on-going basis. They will walk out with a head full of ideas and tangible strategies. They will have a fresh new way of looking at moving beyond comfort zones and as a result will process issues with optimism and velocity. Those who learn the process will experience a competitive advantage over others who do not because they are able to bounce back quicker after any setback and recognize more creative solutions in every area of their business.
The bottom line is that leaders who understand and implement a program to repeatedly challenge assumptions are more valuable to their company & clients, they get more & better results and they lead richer lives overall.
Outcomes:
- Clear understanding of what drives every decision you make
- Re-decide how you do business today or the business you are in
- Expand your thinking and recover quickly after any setback
- Specific action plan to use for on-going accountability
Value to Participants: Participants will be able to apply this program to any issue that is currently challenging them. The interactive individual and group activities give members ample time to actively work on their own business area. They will leave with the tools to recreate the experience on their own and review with peers or advisors. This program helps members of an organization or team get to know each other’s decision making process better while at the same time moves an issue forward for every participant in the group.

Workshop 2: Possibilities of Emotionally Intelligent Leadership
Getting Along To Get Things Done
Successful leaders achieve results not only because they know their industry, but more importantly they know themselves and they understand the people on their team. This program helps managers and leaders understand their own strengths and weaknesses, gives them the data they need and short cuts their learning curve to understanding their people.
Prior to this workshop, each participant will complete an Emotional Intelligence on-line self-assessment. During the session, you will examine your own report and learn about the gaps that could be holding you back from more effective management and leadership.
After the workshop, each participant will have a one on one coaching meeting to debrief their report with Merit in private. In that meeting, they will choose the attribute they most want to work on create their own action plan.
A summary chart of scores for each participant with and without names is provided to the executive team along with recommendations for improvement.
